Grrrrrr said the Lion, Tic-Toc hopped the deer, out came the funny bear and gave the elephant a scare!! Yes, the jungle was brought to life by the enthusiastic teachers of VSPK to mark the World Wild Life Day on 5th March, 2018. A skit with anti-hunting message was enacted with a jamboree of song. FIRST ANNUAL FUNCTION AT VSPK The 17th day of February 2018, will surely be the memorable one for the pupils, staff, and parents of VSP-Koramangala. As on this day, the first Annual Function - SAGAROTSAV was celebrated with zeal and fun! Colours- which make our world so beautiful, was the main ‘Hero’ of the day! Little VSPK stars, dressed in Red, White and Yellow colours, sang and danced with pleasure. Tapping their feet and swaying along, the parents were equally enthralled with the show that our little VSPK pioneers had put that day. The ‘Spectrum’ of Sagarotsav colours got a whole new flavor with a story of a little girl called Tiny and her lovely friend- the Colour Fairy. So, we did the jigs and played the drum!! Yes, we celebrated SAGAROTSAV-SPECTRUM!!

Music found its deserved place in VSPK on 10/11/17. Children and parents together enjoyed a full filled musical morning. And to end the show, parents joined our story teller, enjoying a lovely story ...that too, in rhythm!! Children of Nursery and Prep 1 at VSPK presented many rhymes and songs to an enthralled audience. ‘I love purple’ by Nursery and ‘ chota mota makoda’ by the Prep 1 children were a major hit!! Our music teacher added to the beauty of the show with her notes on the guitar. Parents tried their hands on rhythm and singing with the story teller and the VSPK courtyard was filled with melodious words of’ rick-a- tick-a- tick’ while the audience swayed and sang along. The show was concluded with a thank you note by the principal, and of course, very satisfied and happy parents!! [metaslider id=774]

Food is an important part of a growing up child. And VSPK extended their gratitude to the presence of food in our day today lives by celebrating World Food Day. Children were made aware of different parts of the world and the food habits from countries like China, Mexico, Italy, France and USA to name a few. The PPT was well received by the children as they cheered and participated in an interaction about their favourite foods! The children were then taken on ‘Tummy Tour’. A story which had Mr. Tummy feeling hungry and trying out various kinds of international foods while on a tour with his pal- Mr. Legs!! The day ended with an exciting spoon and lemon race, since lemon is found in all kinds of foods across the world. The winners gleamed with joy while their friends cheered for them. All children played a game of choosing their favourite food and completing their chef’s cap craft, which they proudly wore at home time.
